Chemistry Department Mass Spectrometry Facility

Facility is equipped with variety of ionization techniques for analysis of polar, ionic, thermally unstable, volatile and large biomolecules and polymers.

All of the mass spectrometers except for VG70SE are operated by students after initial training provided by departmental personal. VG70SE is operated by mass spectrometry facility personal only.  For mass spectral analysis requests outside of Drexel University facility is providing services on all of our instruments. For more information about sample submission for VG70SE double focusing and getting training for TSQ triple quadrupole and VG TofSpec E MALDI contact Dr. Dunja Radisic, dunja@drexel.edu. If you wish to inquire a training for Perkin Elmer Clarus 500 GC/MS contact Dr. Kevin Owens, owensk@drexel.edu.
