• Development of sample preparation techniques for quantitative MALD/I analysis
• Gas-phase laser ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry
• Supersonic jet spectroscopy
• Time-of-flight mass spectrometer instrument development
• Application of correlation analysis and other chemometric techniques in mass spectrometry
