Chemistry Major Undergraduate Advisors
Each student is assigned a departmental academic advisor when they enter the
undergraduate program in chemistry. This is done in the first week of the fall
term for freshman or when necessary throughout the year for internal or
external transfer students. The advisor is a tenured or tenure-track faculty
member who will follow the student through their four or five years in the
Drexel chemistry program. Students are encouraged to get to know their advisors
early in their program so they may better attend to their problems. The
departmental advisor can be particularly valuable if the student is deciding on
continuing their education at the post-graduate level. The advisors for each
class are assigned a group of students whose last name starts with the letters
indicated. The name of your advisor should also be listed in your Banner
student record.
